Clause 1 Conclusion : The booking will only be effective when the owner will have received from the customer a deposit of 30% of the total value as well as a copy of the contract dated and signed. It isn’t allowed to transfer the rented lodge to a third party prior the written owner’s consent Payment of the balance: The balance has to be paid one month before the beginning of the renting. This amount remains at the owner’s disposal even if the customer doesn’t come in or leaves earlier than the contractual date. The tourist taxes and the extra services requested by the customer will be paid at the end of the stay Clause 2 Cancellation by the customer: a cancellation is always to be notified by registered mail or telegram. The consequences of it vary according to the date of the notification of cancellation: If the cancellation is notified more than 30 days before the contractual date of arrival, the balance will be repaid but the deposit will be kept back by the owner. If the cancellation is notified less than 30 days before the contractual arrival date, or if the customer hasn’t given any sign of life within 24 hours after this date, the owner is allowed to dispose of the booked renting and to keep back the total sum already paid. Cancellation by the owner: The owner restores to the customer twice the money already cashed Clause 3 The use of the rented lodging. The lodger will have to guarantee the tranquility of the premises and use them in conformity with their purpose. Inventory of the fixtures. This will be done jointly when the customer comes in and when he leaves. This inventory will include the description of the state of cleanliness and will be considered as the unique reference in case of dispute relating to the state of the fixtures. The costs for cleaning of the fixtures are to be paid by the holidaymakers during their stay and before leaving the place. Caution. A caution against damage and a guarantee for cleaning are requested at the arrival and will be restored after deduction of the possible expenses for repairing a damage caused by the holidaymaker. Insurances. The lodger is responsible for all damage he would have done. We strongly recommend the customer to cover himself by an insurance against these various kinds of risks. Clause 4 Capacity. The maximal capacity of the lodging may never be exceeded without the owner’s written consent. If this happens, a price increase may be applied pro person and pro night. Pets. Pet is not admitted. Any breach of one of the above clauses will cause the immediate termination of the contract by the fault of the lodger and the income from the renting will remain in owner’s hands N.B. : The renting starts at 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and finishes at 9.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
